My name is Erin, and I’m an aspiring author (no, this isn’t an AA meeting). Curious about the significance of “Field Notes?” I have a B.S. in Zoology from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, so I started my post-college life writing field notes for bird research. Now I’ve evolved into a full-time wife and mother, working overtime as a writer of fiction. Besides the obvious reading and writing obsessions, I also like spending time in nature with my husband and son.
First novel: EYES OF LIGHTNING (YA contemporary fantasy).
Second novel: THE RIVER’S EDGE (YA contemporary fantasy).
Future projects: EOL is the first book of a possible series; I’ve outlined books two through four. TRE also has sequel potential. I’ve made brief outlines for two other novels and discussed writing projects with Tage, Pat, Vicki, and Vannah. I’ve written a couple short stories and would like to try more. I hope I can keep writing for the rest of my life!
