Sav, Vicki, and I are road trippin to Chicago this Saturday for the American Library Association’s annual conference! Well, not the conference itself, but the Stacks, in which thousands of people will visit hundreds of booths (involving books, publishers, authors, and everything a librarian could ever want). We’re not librarians, but we do love books … so that’s a good enough reason for us.
For a mere $25, you too could gain access to this wealth of knowledge! Consider all the authors you might see: Neil Gaiman, Judy Blume, Laurie Halse Anderson, Sarah Dessen, Kate DiCamillo, M. T. Anderson, Jeri Smith-Ready, Stephanie Kuehnert, Charlaine Harris, Libba Bray … and many, many more.
I’ll spend the day excited and tongue-tied, and hopefully loaded down with signatures and free loot. What could be more fun than that?!
Anyone else going??
That sounds incredible! How was the trip?
FABULOUS! I’m writing up a synopsis to post tomorrow!
Getting ready to start on your chapter; hope to have it back to you in a couple days!
